supply chain management

supply chain management

Description

This module is mainly used to determine the delivery or provision status of one or more order items. Once an order item has been delivered, it is displayed as completed. If it has not been delivered, all parts of the supply chain necessary for complete delivery are displayed with their respective status.

The status of possible follow-on documents (requirement request, purchase order, goods receipt, quality assurance, return document) is evaluated for MRP order parts (merchandise), for MRP production parts the status of the follow-on documents is determined and displayed for all parts of the bill of material (exploded bill of material item, parts request, production order, purchase order documents, etc.).

If an order part has been produced, then the system will also flexibly search for follow-up documents from production and vice versa.

ClassiX® supports flexible disposition, i.e. purchased parts can be manufactured or production parts can be ordered (also partially).
This flexible disposition is also recognised and correctly evaluated by the SCM.

Exceeded deadlines are additionally marked.

For stocked parts the availability is determined at the warehouse. In the missing parts list with the option "Only insufficient parts" only those parts in stock are displayed which are available in insufficient quantity on the requirement date.

A number of options (see below) serve to quickly gain an overview of the delivery capacity and its bottlenecks. By being able to navigate to the subsequent documents or to higher-level items, you can quickly obtain all the information necessary to intervene to ensure punctual delivery.

Fields
Field Description
Schedule as task - No direct execution The programme run is executed via an application calendar. To schedule such a batch or "night" run, place this check mark, set all desired options via the "Options" menu and select the jobs to be evaluated.

After the selection of the jobs, a task for the night run is generated directly, which remains open on the screen for post-processing. The number of the jobs selected for evaluation is displayed on it.

If the evaluation was run during the night, the result is saved in a user list at the end ( list_load.png ) from which it can then be opened by double-clicking and then possibly printed via a report.

Several evaluations can be scheduled per night for different jobs per user.

All scheduled tasks per user can be found in a list "Own application calendar" in the main menu under "User->Own application calendar". By default, only those tasks that are still open and have not yet been executed are displayed here.

List -
: Mission Output of the full path of an order item.
: Level Level of the displayed list entry. An order item can itself already have a level by structuring the order. This tieredness is increased by the structure of the subsequent and secondary documents (parts list -> parts request). (see also opening/closing)
Type Type of the displayed list entry. These can be order items themselves (including order group, sales set or article) or follow-on document categories (purchase order, bill of material item, etc.). The type is described in the column "Document type" (see below).

Option window

All settings can be made here. The window can only be closed with the "OK" button.
Requirements are never displayed twice, i.e. if an order item to be produced exists as an open requirement. for which there is already an exploded BOM item, the BOM item is displayed as to be produced instead of the order item. The same applies to requirement requests: if a merchandise order item is still open, only its follow-on document is displayed, not the order item itself. No settings in the options are necessary for this.

Fields
Field Description Filter missing parts list for production Filter missing parts list for production + trade goods
Display
: Display filter -
: : only missing parts Only "uncompleted" items of the supply chain are output, so you get a missing parts list. If only stock parts are to be displayed which will not be in stock in sufficient quantity on the desired date, the option "Only unavailable parts" must be set on the option tab "Parts".

Attention - irregularity in missed appointments:

When monitoring deadlines, please note that planned receipts that are scheduled earlier than today and have not yet arrived are automatically scheduled as "tomorrow"!

So if an order was scheduled for 6.2.2008 and has an order with the same date, but today is 7.2.2008 and the order has not yet arrived, then the order is classified as a missing part and receives the shortage indicator in the dispo account. This item also appears in the SCM as a missing part!

1 1
: : : : only lowest missing parts Only the open/not completed secondary items with the highest level are output. If a part - within the supply chain - requires upstream (higher level) parts, which themselves do not all have the status "completed", this part is not displayed, but the non-completed upstream part(s) are output.

The list thus only shows the parts that first have to be "done" in order to finally complete the primary trigger positions step by step.

If a filter has been set (see provision filter), the parts are considered to be the "lowest" missing part if the provision type of the upstream - and also unfinished - parts does not match the set filter. If, for example, an unfinished production part consists exclusively of also unfinished = not removed stock material, not the open stock removals but the production part are displayed.

If you still want to see the primary trigger positions ("to whom does this missing part belong?") after building up the list, you can display them again using the context menu (display parent parts). Newly added positions to the list can then be removed (see below: Reset last extended display extension)

: : : only parts from production Only parts that belong to a current production (parts were scheduled in a released parts request) are processed, so you get a pure production missing parts list. 1
: Read in -
: : Replace order When a new job/order item is read in, the existing list is replaced. 1 1
: : Add order When a new order/order item is read in, the existing list is not replaced; an entire list can thus be built up from different orders/order items.
: graduated filter -
: : Type -
: : : Dynamic The supply chain is only tracked up to (and including) the level of completed secondary order items, i.e. completed secondary order items are not further broken down. If you still want to track these after output, you can "Expand" completed secondary order items using the context menu.
: : : None The supply chain is issued completely. 1 1
: : : Fixed If this option is selected, an additional field opens to determine the highest level of the supply chain to be output.
: : : : Level Determination of the highest level of the supply chain to be issued
Parts

: : no filtering Line entries with parts of any staging type are output. Further specifications can be made for the staging types "order part" and "stock parts" (see below). 1 1
: : Filtering If this option is selected, an additional field opens for the selection - also multiple selection - of the supply types: production part, purchased part, stock part. Only those list entries are then displayed whose parts correspond to the selected staging type. If the staging type "order parts" is selected, further options can be selected regarding service items and direct deliveries (see below). If the staging type "stock parts" is selected, you can choose whether the stock availability is to be checked in due time (see below).
: : : Type of provision Selecting the staging mode after activating filtering
: Order parts -
: : Services Specifies whether service items should be output or not.
: : Direct delivery Specifies whether direct delivery items are to be output or not.
: bearing parts -

: : : per today A stock availability check "per today" performs the check for a possible shortage (list columns) against the current stock level.
: : : by appointment The check "by date" is carried out on schedule against the dispositive movements of the part in his disposition account.
: : Not available parts In the missing parts list, only stock withdrawals are displayed which are not available in sufficient quantity on the withdrawal date. If this option is not set, all stock reservations that have not yet been withdrawn are displayed.
: Type of part -
: : Type The type of the order item is checked
: : : Show text article If the check mark is not set, order items for text articles (do not confuse with text blocks!) are not displayed.
Manufacturing
: Work plan filter -
: : : no work sequences Display The work sequences of production order items are not displayed.
: : Display work sequences The work sequences of production order items are displayed.
Dates
: Dates Preview -
: : until If the earliest, latest start and end dates and the reference end date of a list entry are outside the date preview (all dates are later than the date preview), the list entry is not displayed.
: Reference end date -
: : Date of provision The staging date is displayed as a reference date for date checking. If it is not defined, the delivery date is used.
: : Delivery date The delivery date is displayed as a reference date for date checking.
